In the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Deputy Chief Justice assists the Chief Justice in the administration of justice, including case mangement, complaints about judges, collection and strategic assessmsnet statistics, pastoral care and oversight of Court’s Commitment.

His Honour was appointed as the DCJ in Decmeber 2018. Prior to this DCJ McClelland was appointed as a judge to the Family Court in June 2015.

Admittd in 2015 and called to the Bar in 2011, DCJ McClelland has extensive expernience practicing in law.
